Analytical Studio Impurity Analysis Method Selection

Virscidian partnered with X‑Pharma to remove a bottleneck in their high‑throughput LC/MS purification workflow. Analytical Studio already automated method selection, comparing multiple LC or SFC methods to find the cleanest separation for a compound of interest (COI). X‑Pharma, however, also wanted every impurity uniquely labeled, tracked across methods, and its impact quantified when peaks overlapped.

Virscidian responded with an impurity detection & analysis module that tags each impurity, follows it through every test method, and calculates its real contribution, even under severe co‑elution. The upgraded algorithm ranks methods by how completely they isolate the COI and by the residual impurity load likely to enter the collected fraction.

The results speak for themselves: X‑Pharma slashed purification cycle times, gained hard numbers on sample purity, and eliminated tedious manual review.
